Real-Time Fluorescence Quantitative PCR is a molecular technique that utilizes fluorescent reagents within the PCR reaction system to monitor amplification progress in real time. By tracking fluorescence intensity at each cycle, it enables quantitative analysis of the initial template amount through reference genes or standard curve methodology.
Real-time PCR employs fluorescent signals to continuously monitor the amplification process during PCR. During the exponential amplification phase, a linear correlation exists between the template's cycle threshold (Ct) value and its initial copy number, forming the foundation for precise quantification.
